Guests at Molesworth Manor can have access to the computer station and the on-site library and for those just wishing to relax, a stroll through the hotel’s gardens can be the perfect way to unwind. A full Cornish breakfast together with a wide selection of buffet items including cereals and yogurts are on offer at the hotel whilst guests can enjoy their lunch and evening meal at some of the nearby cafes and restaurants such as the Journeyman Restaurant or The Pickwick Inn. The town of Padstow is a 5-minute drive away and Crealy Adventure Park is 2.8 miles away.
Guests complimented the quality of the breakfasts saying that they were freshly prepared and hearty. From the fresh fruit salads through to the perfectly cooked scrambled eggs many guests said that the breakfasts served at the hotel were an excellent start to their day.
The rooms were described as spacious with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. Guests appreciated the tastefully decorated suites as well as the equally large bathrooms which were said to be modern with big baths and powerful showers.
There are several rooms at the hotel where guests can relax, read a book or their daily paper or enjoy a few drinks. Both the library and the lounge have been described as very comfortable places to spend some free time, with lots of books, DVD’s and maps that guests are free to borrow. Many also enjoyed spending time in the garden during finer weather with a couple of drinks from the honesty bar.
Guests were disappointed to find that they could only connect to the internet in the hotel’s lounge and even then the signal was said to be quite weak and intermittent.
The nearest town of Padstow can only be reached by car or taxi which inconvenienced some guests who wanted to be able to walk to the shops and local restaurants and cafes. If you don’t mind having to drive to the local amenities then you won’t object to the hotel’s remote location.
The rooms are situated on the first and the second floor and some guests complained about having to climb the rather narrow staircase every day in order to get to their accommodation.
