The conveniently located aparthotel, MD Group Alagoamar, is close to Fisherman’s Beach and the Old Town of Albufeira. Attractively decorated and furnished apartments are spacious with bathroom, equipped kitchenette and outside balcony area. They include telephone, air conditioning/heating, colour television and safe deposit box. The MD Group Algoamar aparthotel has a lift and games room with facilities for billiards, snooker and other activities, plus 2 large screen televisions. Reception is permanently manned and currency exchange, Wi-Fi and car parking services are available. Outside sees a large swimming pool with surrounding sun loungers. Including full cooked options, the bar serves breakfast with light refreshments throughout the day. The Albufeira Shopping Centre is 150 yards away and 'The Strip' nearby, has many clubs, bars and restaurants. A shuttle service can be arranged to Faro Airport, just over 16 miles away and there are facilities for car and cycle hire.
They’re surprisingly spacious, not the cramped rooms you read about elsewhere. They’re clean and well furnished and the separate bedroom is another bonus, not always found. The air conditioning works like a dream!
The pool is clean and inviting and the pool bar offers great value drinks and snacks. Staff are very friendly + just what you’d expect in a small development of apartments.
Everywhere is clean so no worries about using the kitchen. Plus the shopping centre is only 100 yards or so away. You can though, always opt to eat out and walk or get a cheap taxi to a whole range of restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets.
Totally outrageous and not in line with other, more reasonable costs, here; such as food and drink.
Apartments are beginning to look somewhat dated + the entire place would benefit from a new look. Bedding could do with replacing as it’s starting to look quite grubby + if they just cleaned some of the upholstery, it would make the world of difference.
It seems to vary but, if you’re unlucky, it can sound as if you’re in a wind tunnel. Turn it off + everything’s quiet – but overpoweringly hot!
