If you are expecting a luxury hotel, you might, like some reviewers, be disappointed. However, many guests described the accommodation as being no nonsense yet clean and comfortable. A recurring description of the hotel was calling it good value for money.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Time your check-in carefully.
New guests checking-in for the first time should note there is a policy of no check-in available between 1pm and 4pm. Once checked-in, guests get their own key enabling them to come and go as they please during their stay. A few reviewers reported being annoyed when they arrived in the early afternoon for check-in but were unable to do so.
negative:
Some features in need of updating.
Quite a few guests commented that some aspects of the hotel could do with a bit of updating. Some found aspects of the decor a little tired-looking; others said they spotted fans or showerhead holders in need of repair. Some reviewers described the beds, pillows or mattresses as not being comfortable enough for their liking.
negative:
Patchy hot water supply reported.
A minority of reviewers described encountering a lack of hot water supply at times. It is worth adding that most reviewers didn’t face this issue so it appears to be only an occasional problem.
