The rooms are simply furnished, with lovely wood panelling, and include private bathrooms, TV’s, telephones and some of the most breathtaking views in the Alps.

The main attraction is undoubtedly the skiing. The slopes are so close that if you happen to fall out of bed you’ll be right on them, so it’s best to sleep in your ski suit.
Positive Reviews
positive:
Incredible and unique location
While not all guests were fans of the location, the majority certainly were. They liked both the dramatic site, so far above the valley, but even more, they really liked the genuinely ski-in/ski-out position. A few mentioned that staying up the mountain saved at least an hour a day that they would have had to spend in the cable car queue.
positive:
Friendly and helpful staff
With very few exceptions the staff at the hotel were described as very friendly and helpful, always wiling to go out of their way to serve the guests.
positive:
Excellent food at the restaurant
Some guests were a little apprehensive about booking this hotel, because its position essentially forced them to eat breakfast and dinner at the hotel. They were worried that they would be stuck if they didn't like it. Happily, the overwhelming majority of guests describe the food as ample in quantity, very tasty, and excellent value to boot.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Décor a little dated
This was by far the most common complaint aired by guests. The décor was described as being in dire need of a major update. There were also a couple of guests who mentioned items in their room not working.
negative:
A bit isolated for some
While most guests loved the dramatic location at the top of the cable car, it was not entirely without its costs. To some guests the remote location meant that they missed out on nightlife, and found it awkward to get down to the base when they wanted to.
negative:
Problems with the heating
Surprisingly, several guests spoke of problems with the heating in their rooms. It seemed to go a bit haywire, first kicking in and making the room uncomfortably hot, only to then shut down entirely and plunge the room into the depths of frigidity.
