A good place to rest.
After a tiring day by the seaside, it's nice to know that you can come back to a well appointed, comfortable room. Guestrooms at Lichfield House are clean, with really comfortable beds. They are quirkily designed and have a good ambience.
positive:
Surfing is easy.
Getting a decent internet connection is often tough at hotels, but here the connection is fast, making the Wi-Fi enjoyable to use.
positive:
Well positioned.
The property is in a good location. The beach is just down the road and there are a lot of places to eat in the immediate vicinity. It's a comfortable walk to the centre of Brighton as well.
Negative Reviews
negative:
You'll leave hungry.
Breakfast isn't offered at Lichfield House, so you'll have to make use of one of the nearby cafes in the morning.
negative:
Car drivers beware.
There's no parking at the hotel, so you'll have to find somewhere on the street. Not only will this cost you money during the daytime, but also it can be incredibly tricky and tiresome trying to find a space. Brighton and Hove are notoriously difficult places to park.
negative:
Bathrooms issues.
Some of the bathrooms here are really small. It's very cramped in them and the sinks in particular are miniscule. The showers are similarly tiny and it's hard to get the right water temperature. Because of the design of the room, shower water tends to cover the whole floor as well.
