About L'Ermitage Hôtel Cuisine-À-Manger
Set in a commanding position overlooking Lyon, Hotel L’Ermitage Cuisine-à-manger is an ultra-modern boutique property offering great facilities suitable for both business people and tourists.
Like the rest of the property, the 26 rooms are sleek and modern. They feature all the modern conveniences you would expect, including large flat screen TV’s and free Wi-Fi to keep you informed, entertained and connected to the world beyond.
What the hotel’s pool lacks in size it makes up for with what must surely be one of the best views in Lyon. The deck is the perfect spot to enjoy the view over drinks with friends.

Being in the hills above the city, Hotel L’Ermitage Cuisine-à-manger is great starting point for a number of very tranquil nature hikes.
Positive Reviews
positive:
Absolutely stunning views
This was far and away what most impressed guests about the hotel. It is situated high in the hills above the city and seems to have been designed to make the most of these. Guests said it would be hard to imagine any other Lyon hotel with better views, which could be enjoyed from all the major public areas and most of the rooms as well.
positive:
Very trendy design
It wasn’t only the views that impressed. Guests also liked the design of the building, both inside and out. It was said to be very chic and modern, with great attention to detail. Guests enjoyed the feeling of staying in a trendy and leading-edge property.
positive:
Late check out
A few guests mentioned that the hotel’s standard check out time is refreshingly late. They clearly liked not being rushed in the morning, over breakfast or just in a general sense. The late check out made everything much more civilised.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Some distance from Lyon
Of course, like with most things in life, one cannot have it all. The hotel’s stunning views over the city came at the cost of actually being some distance away from the city it overlooked. Guests mentioned that it took some time to travel between the hotel and the city and the hotel was perhaps not suitable for people who intended to spend most of their time there.
negative:
Pool deck a little small
Guests found the pool and its deck to be a little small. It seemed like it was more for show, to highlight the great view, than for actually swimming. There was not enough space for sun beds and other seating.
negative:
Poor Wi-Fi
Far too many guests for comfort experienced problems with the hotel’s Wi-Fi system, with unreliability being the main complaint.
