The hotel is well placed for accessing both buses and the tube. Several bus lines are a short walk from the hotel. Kensington Olympia train station and Shepherd’s Bush underground, which accesses the Central line, are both within a 10-minute walk of the hotel. You can stroll through Notting Hill and reach Portobello Road Market in 30-minutes. Kensington Gardens is a 25-minute or 15-minute bus ride away.

The rooms are decked with all the basic appliances and self service facilities you might need, including microwave, hot plate, fridge and hairdryer. Guests commented that the rooms were of adequate size by London standards, clean, comfortable. A basic buffet breakfast is also included in the price and guests found the hotel to, overall, be good value for money.

The atmosphere of the hotel was reportedly friendly, with staff being courteous and happy to provide assistance.

Guests found that the rooms to be very small and cramped and not reflective of what is presented in the photos. The bathrooms are also small and the shower isn’t large enough to comfortably fit a single person. The beds were also reported to be uncomfortable.

Many guests described the hotel environment and furnishings as dated and rundown. Rooms were also described as dirty and reported complaints included stains on the walls and ceilings, the bathrooms do not appear to be regularly cleaned and previous guests’ rubbish has also been found in the rooms.

The staff have been described as rude, impolite, arrogant, unhelpful. Guests reported that the staff were often disinterested in their requests and did not take their concerns or complaints about problems encountered in the rooms seriously.
