Positive Reviews
positive:
Location is convenient and quiet
Being right behind Shin-Nihombashi metro station and just one stop away from the main Tokyo train station makes this hotel a great option when it comes to getting around (or even leaving) the city. The fact that it is tucked down a nice quiet side street is the icing on the cake as it means you can escape the relentless hustle and bustle with ease.
positive:
Accommodations are as clean as they come
You'll have little fuel for your fire here if you're one of those people who delights in finding fault with the cleanliness of hotel rooms - this place keeps its accommodations as clean as a whistle!
positive:
Staff members are very warm and accommodating
Many visitors have singled out the hotel's humble yet ever-friendly reception team as being worthy of high praise. As well as being modestly efficient, these positive (and very smiley) guys and gals are always keen to converse in English. Infectiously cheery folk.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Wi-Fi can be a bit spotty
Numerous guests have experienced issues with the hotel's free Wi-Fi. Evidently, the further away from the foyer you get, the more likely you are to encounter difficulties with reliability and signal strength.
negative:
Guest rooms are very small
If you've never stayed in a Japanese budget hotel before then you'll probably be somewhat shocked by the minimal space within the guest rooms and bathrooms here. Get used to it - this is about as spacious as it gets in this price bracket!
negative:
In-room air-conditioning is pretty noisy
It could be argued that the A/C units within the accommodations make more noise than anything else in this peaceful, rather reserved hotel. Do yourself a favour and pack some ear plugs if you're staying during the summer months...
