The newly-refurnished rooms at Ipanema Park are small but cosy and are cleaned to perfection. Guests reported that the rooms are also well-equipped with lots of amenities, the bathrooms are luxurious with lots of water pressure in the shower and the temperature is always perfect.

Guests reported that the food served at the hotel restaurant is delicious with plenty of healthy, good-quality items to choose from. The bar is well-stocked and the desserts are generous and decadent.

The pool area of the hotel is well-manicured and well-maintained with beautiful surroundings and a clean, relaxing environment. Guests reported that there are plenty of sun beds available and the pool is never crowded.

The Hotel is Very Noisy at All Hours.
Guests reported that there is a lot of noise around the hotel coming from various sources including crowds of teenagers splashing in the pool, screaming and running in the corridors, guests coming back from local pubs who talk loudly and yell to one another from balconies and cleaning staff who start working very early in the morning.

Bland, Poor-quality Meals.
The meals served at the restaurant are bland with a limited amount of poor-quality items to choose from. Guests reported that much of the food is greasy, undercooked, burnt and there are no choices available for people with special dietary requirements. The kitchen staff are unknowledgeable about ingredients in the meals and are unable to answer questions about the food content.

Some guests reported being greeted by grumpy, unfriendly front desk staff who do very little to accommodate them or help them in any way. Also reported was rooms that were not ready at check-in time, intrusive cleaning staff who enter rooms without knocking and issues that go unresolved.
