Many guests rave about the floor-to-ceiling windows and the quirky mix of modern and retro design in the rooms, with fun and funny touches like wind-up robots on the shelves. The bathrooms are widely described as luxurious, and some have dramatic, freestanding bath tubs. Few guests fail to mention the infinity pool and its stunning view over the gardens of an Ambassador's residence with the skyscrapers beyond.

Guests love that the hotel is within walking distance of Lumphini Park, an ideal place for a morning jog. It is also close to several of the city's famous, glittering malls and the BTS Skytrain; the closest station is about ten minutes away on foot, and offers easy access to just about anywhere you might like to go in BKK.

Several light sleepers who were assigned rooms facing the main road have been kept up at night by the street noise.

Some international travellers have been frustrated to encounter language barriers at the front desk or in the restaurant, as the staff seem to have varying degrees of fluency in English. More charitable English-speaking travellers note that all team members work hard to interpret and meet their guests' needs despite the occasional communication issue.
