Rooms are very spacious and luxuriously furnished.
The guestroom’s antique furniture, fittings and upholstery are luxurious, comfortable and fit in with the overall theme of the hotel. The bathrooms are spacious and the shower/tub combination is roomy. The free designer toiletries were seen by most guests as being to be a welcome addition.
Negative Reviews
negative:
The onsite restaurant and bar are a very expensive.
Quite a number of guests thought that the prices in the bar’s and restaurant’s menus were too high for the quality of food offered. Some guests were of the opinion that the wine list lacked variety and was overpriced.
negative:
There is a weak Wi-Fi connection in the rooms.
The wireless internet connection is quite weak in the hotel’s guestrooms. Some guests could barely connect to the network while others browsed at such slow speeds that it was barely usable unless you were a very light user.
negative:
The hotel’s elevator is quite old and very small.
A few guests expressed their concerns regarding the hotel’s lift which they found to be rather small. This was a major problem as there is only one lift in the building to serve all the guests.
