Hotel Hilton Garden Inn Atlanta NW/Kennesaw-Town Center (Kennesaw, USA)

The hotel is off the 1-75 and there are plenty of shops and restaurants in the vicinity. Kennesaw State University and the Town Center Mall are both nearby.

The lobby has a very welcoming atmosphere and the front desk members of staff work tirelessly to ensure a smooth check-in and a happy stay. This attitude ... with only a few exceptions ... permeates all areas of the hotel’s operation; from the restaurant through to housekeeping.

There’s a full restaurant service here, which is a good on-site advantage to have. There are, in addition, many restaurant alternatives within an approximate half a mile radius. The gymnasium is a bit on the small side, but at least they’ve got one. The patio is a really relaxing area.

Tariffs aren’t cheap but the hotel still can’t resist squeezing more money out of you for breakfast. *Walk around a bit and you’ll come across a much cheaper cafe option!  There are no complimentary teas/coffees in the lobby area.

Half the pool is inside the building and the other half is outside. Consequently, the inside half has dead leaves and foliage in it and the temperature, throughout, is freezing. To be fair, there’s no smell of chlorine as the pool is salt water. The place screams out for a hot tub but currently, there isn’t one.

Some members of staff are ‘snooty’ and act as if there’s a smell under their combined noses. There is a real smell in some rooms, plus dirty carpets and general cleaning standards that plummet below what you expect for this price. Bathrooms and furnishings are well past any reasonable sell-by date.
