Positive Reviews
positive:
A Great Location For Everything
The hotel is three stops from the Ikebukuro station. There are tons of restaurants and opportunities for shopping just a few steps away. There is a supermarket, bookstore, music store, and a 24/7 convenience store as well.
positive:
Great If You Can't Afford Tokyo
This hotel is the perfect place to stay if you can’t afford central Tokyo. Outside of the convenience of the location, the price is right. It’s a no frills facility that will save you money that you can use for other things like partying and shopping.
positive:
Friendly And Accommodating Staff
The staff are friendly and very accommodating. Great effort is made to communicate though Japanese is primarily spoken. However, information is written in English, which helps tremendously while travelling around.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Paying Extra For Cleaning
The hotel does not provide day-to-day cleaning. You have to pay an additional fee if you want to get your room cleaned. The facility could use a good cleaning overall. Dirty corridors and elevator are two areas that need tidying.
negative:
Wandering Around For Wi-Fi
You can forget about the Wi-Fi in this place. If you are relying on a good Internet connection you’re going to be very disappointed. More than likely, you will end up running to one of the nearby cafés trying to find a good connection.
negative:
Rooms Are Tiny And An Early Reception
Rooms are very small, which is typical for Japan and this facility is no different. Reception closes too early and you pay extra if you check-out an hour later.
