The staff here are very welcoming and warm, greeting guests with an easy smile. The pleasant attitude of the staff is mentioned as a plus point by many guests who have stayed here.

The accommodation is well located just ten minutes from a number of attractions. Mission Bay and Pacific Beach are likewise just ten minutes away. At the hotel, there are ample parking spaces and guests can park their cars outside in front of their rooms making loading and unloading an easy matter.

The rooms are small, but provide everything required for guests. There is a fridge and microwave, television, air-conditioning, a desk and closet space in each room, which are in general clean with a modern feel.

Some rooms can be a little run down and need some refurbishment to make them feel fresh again. The general disrepair is seen in air conditioning units, which don't always function properly, holes in walls, toilets which don't flush and lumpy mattresses. Some also experienced a slow Wi-Fi signal.

The complimentary breakfast served here isn't particularly memorable and is a typical for this level of accommodation with cereals and bread the main food on offer.

Some felt that the location of the accommodation was a little seedy with some guests encountering some shady people in the area outside. It is near major highways and intersections, so isn't in a residential or shopping area. However, other who have stayed here have commented that as solo travelers, that they felt very safe.
