Both Horseshoe Falls and the Journey Behind the Falls attraction, which offers views of Niagara Falls, are 20-minutes' walk from the hotel. The weekly Niagara Falls Farmers Market is a 12-minute walk away and Clifton Hill is 7-minutes away. A choice of cafes and restaurants are within walking distance.

The rooms are well presented, clean and furnished with simple though stylish furnishings. The mattresses are comfortable and modern conveniences of a fridge and microwave were appreciated by many guests. Spa facilities are offered year round, including a sauna, spa tub and an indoor pool which are also clean and well presented.

Expensive parking and breakfast

The rooms are not always cleaned thouroughly cleaned. Guests reported having dirty sheets on the bed and the bathroom not being cleaned properly following previous guests. The carpets are also old, warn and stained in places.

Every now and again the amenities at the hotel do not function as they should. Guests have reported problems with the air conditioning not functioning well at all times so that it was too cold in the room. The Wi-Fi can also be unreliable and difficult to connect to. You may need to let the water run for a few minutes in the bathroom before it warms up.
