Positive Reviews
positive:
A super location.
You're only a short drive into downtown Denver and yet it's much quieter here. Many guests are staying because of the proximity to the airport, but it's a good holiday and commercial hotel too, with Coors Field, Pepsi Center and Denver Coliseum; all close by.
positive:
Room freebies.
There are little 'snack extras' in the room; a thoughtful addition on the part of the management. Rooms, themselves, aren't at all cramped and they are clean and well equipped. Beds are really comfortable.
positive:
Staff start the day in fine style.
The staff are very friendly and helpful and their mood, along with breakfast, gets you off to a fine (flying?) start! Breakfast is appetizing and it's noticeable how they try to cater for any dietary needs.
Negative Reviews
negative:
A shuffling shuttle.
The airport shuttle runs once an hour and should take around 20 minutes. Whoever said this has his 'head in the clouds' because it makes a number of long stops along the way; making the journey almost double that time. Allow for this in your planning.
negative:
Missing the sweet smell of success.
On arrival, the first thing you notice in the lobby is the pungent stink of cigarettes and other substances. That's the good bit because it gets worse in the room itself! Here, there is a nauseous smell of sewage coming from the sink.
negative:
Whining and dining.
Pillows and bed coverings must be the cheapest and thinnest in the hotel kingdom. The exercise itself must have been undertaken years ago because they are now soiled and highly suspect. The 'continental' breakfast must be from a sub-continent, particularly for guests arriving at 9am! There's virtually nothing left; not even coffee - a commodity that is noticeably absent throughout the hotel.
