The hotel has received major renovations and upgrades and looks fantastic. The décor inside is real good while the outside facilities such as the courtyard, parking, and outdoor pool are very well designed. The rooms look great; AC works perfectly with minimal noise. Lovely furniture in the rooms and public spaces. Lobby is large with a Bistro Bar and plenty of computers for guests to use. A true reflection of the renowned Marriott class and style.

The hotel's staff is super-nice and very professional, which is quite typical of a Marriott hotel.
Courtyard Gettysburg does not provide free breakfast unlike many hotels in its class. The hotel charges for its continental breakfast which, unfortunately, some guests say is Spartan at best. Others have said that the bonus coffee provided in the rooms is not good enough and they have preferred to buy a Starbucks in the lobby instead.
While many guests appreciate the ongoing renovations in the hotel, others have felt that the noise and dust, wet paint, dirt and the works was a bit overwhelming. Some amenities are not available due to the renovations. Lower floors can be noisy due to traffic. Luckily for guests the hotel says the remodeling exercise is almost complete.
