Negative Reviews
negative:
Not All Areas Were Remodeled
The hotel underwent renovations in 2015 and some places look brand-spanking new and shiny but guests say it appears the entire property wasn't redone and there are still areas that could use improvement. In particular, levators and hallways look a bit worn.
negative:
Things Don't Always Run Smoothly
Guests say that the hotel is in decent shape and the staff is friendly but there always seems to be something broken or there's a glitch with a reservation. Issues are handled promptly and efficiently but guests say the operation could run smoother.
negative:
Tough for Walking
Austin is a walking city, but this hotel is located outside of town, about a 10-minute drive away. Guests say the location off a highway makes it difficult to walk in the area and a car is helpful if staying here.
