Guests enjoyed the pool, the hot Jacuzzi and the dry sauna as well as the sun deck with ample tables and chairs.
The hotel provides a daily continental breakfast, which many guests found to contain adequate offerings, and they also enjoyed the friendly and efficient staff manning the area.
Guests pointed out that the hotel appears very outdated, especially the hallways and rooms. The latter were reported to have an odor reminiscent of smoke and mildew, worn and stained mattresses, TVs with fuzzy reception, old scratched paint, and bathrooms with some mold and dirty grout.
Some guests were bothered by the overall noise level, as, for example, the in-room Jacuzzis were quite loud and could even be heard in lower rooms. With this being a pet-friendly property, several guests didn't appreciate hearing dogs barking in the middle of the night without management interfering. During spring break, homecoming or in the summer months overall, the hotel seems to attract a lively crowd with parties and family events adding to the noise level, especially in the pool area.
While many guests were satisfied with the cleanliness of their rooms, others noted stained floors, leftover items and ant problem that neither housekeeping nor management would address right away.
