The Hotel Contractors Hotel, near Wycombe’s town centre is an annexe to the neighbouring Buckingham Hotel and offers a combination of self catering and bed and breakfast accommodation. It’s not actually in the busy town centre but conveniently placed on the very edge of it. So it’s ideal for tourists and workers as well as football fans. It’s only 5 minutes from Adams Park!
The car park can fill up on a regular basis so then you’ve got the well known problem of driving round a strange town, looking for spaces.
Heat in the rooms builds up to make sleep virtually impossible. Breakfast, too, is hot and OK; but portions are small. Would be better if they doubled the portions – or halved the price!
Check out is advertised as being 10.30am but over enthusiastic cleaners start clamouring for your room just after 9am! They’d be better employed shifting the health hazard type rubbish accumulating outside the main entrance.
