The free buffet, available any time of the day and night, offered a decent range of food and drinks, as well as self-made ice cream, and so was popular for its convenience and for saving money.

A small number of guests found the mattresses to either be hard or generally uncomfortable, so while the majority of guests did not have an issue, keep this in mind if you are picky with beds.

Rambla balcony rooms hear rowdiness.
Guests have said the rooms with balconies overlooking La Rambla were fantastic for soaking up the atmosphere without having to delve into it, but this had the drawback of making them a bit noisy at night time due to revellers in the street.
