The Castle-hotel “Castello di Poreta” is a fully restored 14th century Castle located in Poreta, 10 km from Spoleto and 20 km from Foligno, Umbria, where we run with passion a charming hotel and a restaurant offering high-quality food with local and organic products. Located on a hill 470 metres above sea level, surrounded by soft hilly slopes and natural landscapes, with a view that ranges from Spoleto to Montefalco, the hotel features double standard rooms and superior rooms (additional beds upon request), with private bathrooms, free wi-fi, air conditioned, heating, stereo-bluetooth. All rooms have been recently renovated, melting traditional elements, such as the terracotta floors, with contemporary interior design furniture, and some offer a view on the wonderful Umbria valley or on the green hills surrounding the castle. There is a reserved parking area, and if needed, a pick-up service for guests without their own car. The Castle of Poreta can also be a good starting point for accompanied and/or unaccompanied walks thanks to the many country lanes in the nearing, one of which is the famous Francesco’s way.
