Hotel Carriage House Inn (Branson, USA)

Guests felt that the Carriage House offered the best of both worlds: easy access to Branson's numerous shows, attractions and restaurants, but far enough away from the noise and traffic of the main strip to ensure a peaceful stay.

The friendly and congenial staff of the Carriage House won high praise from guests. They appreciated help in arranging tickets for shows and recommendations on restaurants and found the staff knowledgeable and accommodating. Guests had special praise for the housekeeping staff who quickly supplied extra towels when needed and kept the rooms spotless. .

For a quiet, clean and comfortable place to stay while visiting Branson, guests say that the Carriage House definitely fits the bill. They described the rooms as neat and clean, the atmosphere quiet and the biscuits and gravy delicious. After a day on the town, guests also enjoyed relaxing in the heated pool and appreciated the late evening hours. Overall, guests found the hotel extremely good value and some returning guests said they would never book anywhere else in Branson.

Not all guests at the Carriage House were blown away by the complimentary breakfast. Some complained that the choice was limited and the offerings carbohydrate heavy.

The Carriage House does not have an elevator and guests with mobility problems and those with heavy luggage found this a problem. Some guests recommended asking for a ground floor room. Guests also noted lack of hand rails in the bathrooms.

Old fashioned keys, instead of magnetic cards, were problems for some guests. Others complained about stale and musty smells in the guest rooms, poor water pressure and noisy shower heads. Guests noted housekeeping issues such as hair in the showers and water splashes on bathroom counters. Old TVs that had very few channels and poor picture quality were reported.
