Hotel Bungalows Parque Golf (Maspalomas, Spain)

The staff in the complex are very friendly and give great customer service. The security guard has received lots of positive feedback for helping guests to check in and order taxis.

The housekeeping team work extremely hard and rooms are cleaned nearly every day. The site in general including the public areas are well kept and the outside space well maintained.

The swimming pool is very big and as some of the bungalows actually have permanent residents it is quiet for the size of the complex with weekends being a bit busier. Guests have been able to find a sun lounger without too much trouble and enjoy the water in the hot weather.

The rooms themselves are looking very tatty and past their best with some guests reporting safety issues such as broken plug sockets and nails that stick out. There are unconfirmed reports that the hotel is carrying out some maintenance work.

There have been a handful of recent reviews stating that on arrival guests have been told that there were unexpected maintenance issues with the room booked and therefore they have been moved to another property Las Walkirias, which is in the resort centre and therefore quite noisy. Guests have later had to move back in the middle of their stay which is hugely inconvenient. They have then gone on to discover the hotel had double booked some rooms leaving them without and the maintenance issues were not the true reason for being moved.

Use of a safe, using the air-conditioning and wanting Wi-Fi access are all charged extra and guests need to take this into consideration when budgeting for their holiday.
