The Beach House is situated at Chiswell, Portland Dorset. We back onto Chesil Beach behind what is referred to by the locals as the Chesil Bank which runs for 18 miles to West Bay, which is part of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site. Ideal accommodation for activities in and around Portland Harbour and the National Sailing Academy as well as Chesil Beach activity’s but remember this is a shingle Beach. Weymouth’s famous sandy Beach which is ideal for children is only a short bus ride away. Majority of our rooms have en suit facilitys, some have a private bathroom out side the room but only for the room you have booked, the difference is reflected in the price. The down stairs area is used to serve breakfast, during the day it is used for our Tea Room which serves delicious Cream Teas and English High Teas as well as a range of lunch time snacks (between 10am and 4pm).
