Hotel Auriga (Milan, Italy)

An added bonus of being so closely located to the central station is that Hotel Auriga is very quiet. Guests will be able to expect a quiet nights' sleep, without normal city noise disrupting one's sleep.

Each morning guests are treated to a wide array of breakfast items to choose from the complimentary breakfast buffet. Guests can expect items such as cereals, juices, breads, pastries, fruits, and yoghurts. The lay out is pleasant, and guests will find themselves divulging at the morning time.

Each room has been decorated in amusingly opulent old-world décor. There isn't anywhere else that offers such a different take on accommodation décor, and guests will find it to be rather entertaining.

Guests staying at Hotel Auriga should not expect great water pressure in the showers. Unfortunately, as a more cost-effective, and eco-friendly option, the water pressure has been turned down. Luckily, there is plenty of hot water to steam away one's worry.

For those relying on remaining connected to the digital world, they may find themselves at a bit of a loss and with some frustration. The Wi-Fi connection, while good when connected, doesn't stay connected, and therefore isn't any good for those wishing to make use of the service for streaming.

The air conditioning units, while a godsend during the balmy summer months, can become a bit more of a catch-22. Would one wish to be able to sleep in a comfortable temperature, and rather try to block out the noise, or opt for the quiet, and suffer the heat?
