Akamas Health Farm and Spa comprises of luxurious hotel apartments situated in the Latchi Panorama Complex, Paphos, Cyprus. It is only 40 minutes’ drive from Paphos airport. All 62 apartments have an en suite bathroom, satellite television, sitting room and kitchen. Facilities like air conditioning, tea/coffeemaking facilities, washing machine and a refrigerator are present. Jacuzzi is available in the Penthouse apartments. An indoor and outdoor pool, kids’ pool, sauna, steam bath, gym and tennis court are present. A luxurious spa providing many facilities like massages and alternative treatments is a hit among guests. There are many activities like sailing, biking, scuba diving and fishing nearby. Internet and parking are complimentary. A good dining menu and drinks are served by Panorama Restaurant & Bar on site. Breakfast is an extra. The Akamas Health Farm and Spa is only a seven-minute drive from the beach and six miles from Polis, a small town.
Guests enjoyed the lovely view of the Chrysochou Bay, and the sea and mountains of Akamas Region of Western Cyprus. The resort is located on top of a hill giving a quiet, relaxing ambience loved by guests. Gardens with local herb bushes add to the beauty.
All the guests loved the apartment style hotel rooms that were aesthetically done up. The resort was peaceful and not crowded. Spa treatments included body and face care, slimming treatments and therapeutic massage.
Guests loved the welcome and prompt services rendered by the professional and friendly staff. Pools are not crowded or noisy. Indoor pools even have water bicycles for exercising. Clean pools and ample number of sunbeds were appreciated by all the guests.
Most of the guests were disappointed as there was non-existent or poor Wi-Fi connection in the rooms. The signal near the pool was also iffy.
Few guests were horrified to see hair and hair balls all over the place, and dirty bathroom with spots on the toilet seats. They also found ants and spiders crawling around. Breakfast spread was not up to the standard as per the price being paid .There were flies hovering around as the food was kept uncovered for a long time.
Many guests found the service in the restaurant to be very slow and they seemed to have to wait endlessly. The rooftop Jacuzzi tub had dirty water, and was surrounded by many water tanks, giving it a very uninviting feel. This was not as shown in the pictures.
