About Palafito Cucao

Our Hostel has 11 beautiful rooms with views of lake Cucao, all with private bathroom, central heating and WIFI. We also have a fully equipped kitchen, access to computers, large outdoor terraces and a privileged view of Cucao Lake. To enhance the atmosphere of rest and contemplation of nature Palafito Cucao does NOT have televisions in the rooms nor room service. The rate includes breakfast, consisting of homemade bread and marmalade, fruit, juice, yogurt, oatmeal, milk, black coffee, English tea, herbal tea, green tea, as well as free access to use of the kitchen. Palafito Cucao Hostel offers high quality tourist services for our guests, through our excursion department “Palafito Trip” www.palafitotrip.cl . This department was created to offer high quality activities which take place or start from the Hostel. Palafito Trip offers various excursions; hiking, horseback, kayak, tour to the churches declared Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO or to the penguin colony in Ancud. Palafito Trip also offers transport services for our guests; from the airport, Puerto Montt, Castro, or any destination in or beyond the island of Chiloé.
