Ready for Renovation
Even though the rooms are clean and well-kept, it seems the hotel could use an update and various minor renovations. The furniture and fixtures look dated and out of style, the carpets appear due for a replacement, and the property could use a cosmetic refresh in brighten it up in general.
negative:
Noise Complaints
Judging from recent reviews, it sounds like the hotel does not have the best soundproofing. The Esplanade is a busy street, so some rooms facing it will be prone to noise. However, guests also complain about hearing their next-door neighbours. If you're a light sleeper, make sure you bring earplugs as a precaution.
