Customer-facing employees do a great job
If you’re a fan of old-school hospitality and good old-fashioned manners then you’ll love staying here as most of the workers employed in customer-related roles have a real flare for making visitors feel well and truly valued.
positive:
Covered parking can be a godsend
If you’re travelling in the colder months then do yourself a favour and try to grab one of the covered parking options underneath the hotel if you can. It can take a LONG time to scrape the snow off your vehicle in these parts...
positive:
Hotel is close to everything
Just off Highway 1, surrounded by restaurants and cafes and no more than a few minutes’ drive from the retail opportunities and entertainment venues of both Aberdeen Mall and Aberdeen Village; the location of this hotel is pretty hard to beat!

Breakfast finishes pretty early
If you stay here then you’re going to have to decide what’s most important to you: your lie-in or your morning feed. Breakfast finishes at 09.00 sharp so it’s fair to say you can’t have both!
negative:
Bathrooms need attention
Many visitors have commented on the rather lacklustre state of the bathrooms within the guest accommodations. Mouldy tiles were the chief complaint registered by less-than-impressed guests.

You have to take the stairs
It may only be a two-storey building but that doesn’t change the fact climbing the stairs can be hard for some people. Unfortunately, the complete absence of a lift means some visitors will have to do just that.
