The Craighlaw Arms is a small but cosy family owned hotel where our informal comfortable environment provides the perfect escape destination. Situated in Kirkcowan just seven miles from the town of Newton Stewart and perfectly situated for those planning to travel on the ferry to Ireland. We offer an idyllic retreat in the heart of the Galloway countryside. We cater for families and small groups of walkers cyclists golfers or shooters or simply those who would like to take things at a more leisurely pace. We can provide wash down point and secure cycle store. Laundry service is also available. We have three very comfortable en suite letting rooms equipped with TV as well as tea and coffee making facilities. We also offer a welcoming public bar lounge bar and games room with pool table. Our dining room can comfortably accommodate up to 20 people where bar meals & snacks are served throughout the day until 9pm. The menu is varied with gluten free and vegetarian options available. Packed lunches can also be provided for those who plan to be out exploring all day! We are pet friendly. You are welcome to bring your well behaved pet with you.
