Each room, individually decorated in varying styles of log-cabin-comfort, features air conditioning, blackout drapes, a flat-panel TV with cable and a DVD player, and ironing facilities. Fitness fanatics will delight in the amount of facilities offered at Chetola Resort at Blowing Rock, and these include two outdoor tennis courts, a health club, and fitness facilities. Other amenities include a porter/bellhop, luggage storage, a picnic area, conference space and a 24-hour front desk. Timberlakes, the onsite restaurant, is open for breakfast and dinner only. A cooked-to-order breakfast is offered each morning at the breakfast station at a surcharge. Blowing Rock Memorial Park and the Blowing Rock Art and History Museum can both be reached in less than a 20-minute walk. Broyhill Park and Moses Cone Manor are both within three miles.

    The ground floor condo's at Chetola Mountain Resort unfortunately are recipient to a lot of noise from their upstairs neighbors. Another negative would be that these rooms don't have much of a view from the beautiful surrounds.
