Negative Reviews
negative:
Rooms can feel cold
A small number of guests mention that the rooms were a little cold, especially during the night. It doesn't appear that there's any central heating here so you may want to pack your thermals!
negative:
Decor is a little shabby
Although the rooms are reasonably comfortable, guests do tend to find them a little on the shabby side. Plus, given the age of the building, you can expect creaky and uneven floors. To be fair, though, many guests felt this added to the overall charm.
negative:
Some noise
Guests occasionally mention that they were disturbed by noise from the bar. Unfortunately, this can go on until well after midnight. For light sleepers or those people travelling with kids, this may well be an issue.
