Epidavros Hotel (Athens, Greece)

The breakfast served every morning is really good, it is buffet-style so you can choose what you do and do not want. There are many choices available, from eggs to fruits to cheeses and hams, and all of the food is fresh and tasty.

The housekeeping staff do a fantastic job of cleaning the rooms every day, they change your towels and your bed sheets daily. They are also very trustworthy so guests do not need to worry about their personal belongings.

The Wi-Fi at this hotel is quite good. The connection is fast and relatively stable when considering the poor W-Fi connections usually found in Greece.

Guests to this hotel have reported that the reception staff were unfriendly and unwilling to help guests with normal hotel reception services such as booking a taxi. The reception staff are rude to guests, they interrupt them and answer phone calls whilst attending to guests. Some staff members are condescending and disrespectful towards guests.

The hotel is in the city centre and the area surrounding it is not very attractive, it feels unsafe as there are people hanging around in the streets throughout the day and night. The streets are not clean and it is a little far from the touristy parts of the city.

The bathrooms in the private guest rooms are very small, there is very little space for you to move around and it is almost impossible to have one person in the room at a time. The shower stalls are very small and due to the shower curtain not being long enough there would always be water on the floor after you shower.
