A large and comfortable self-catering property on the edge of Falkland, central Fife. Sleeps 14 in 6 bedrooms with 5 bathrooms and a downstairs loo. Set in hundreds of acres of farmland and surrounded by beautiful countryside, Ladywell House is the perfect base for families and groups of friends. Built in 1806, and steeped in royal history, the house was owned by Francis Shand Kydd until her death, and visited by Princess Diana, and her sons, the Princes William and Harry. With a large Drawing Room, a dining kitchen with AGA, a large and light conservatory, a dining room and a tv room, there is plenty of space for large groups. Within 40 minutes of Edinburgh, and within 20 miles of St Andrews, Perth and Dundee, we are centrally located for walkers, tourists and golfers. A further Steading cottage is available to sleep 4 adults and 2 children in 2 doubles (one ensuite) and small room with bunk beds. The Steading has a further bathroom with large walk-in shower, and a dining kitchen with access to the south-facing garden. The sitting room is large and bright with French doors to the garden. A total of 20 can be accommodated in Ladywell House and the Steading cottage.
