La Casa dei Nonni is an old house-shop, where my grandfather was building towing and Scialabba, now becomes a treasure chest of memories and emotions.\r\nThe renovation begins in small steps, and day after day my grandparents\' house back to life after years waiting and flourishes.\r\nReady and patient waiting, the house-studio, it turns out, bringing to light in the bedrooms now, shop at one time, large slabs of local stone and ancient niches, wisely left exposed.\r\nWhere the wheels of carts and Scialabba, were once prevalent today there is a large kitchen decorated with special designs reminiscent of ancient floors of Salento.\r\nThe doors features, refurbished and \'stracallate\' (decorated) with the original drawings of the towing Salento, make it unique and original home.\r\nThe terrace is waiting for you to spend relaxing moments sipping wine offered by the owners.\r\nAll of it was left in the past, the House of the Grandparents, is ready to live again and to welcome within its walls those who want to enjoy the original beauty of Salento.
