Now that the train has ceased to run the tracks make for excellent hiking; either up to Saluda or down to Melrose where you can stop back by and enjoy the beauty of Pearson Falls before returning to Crooked Cabin to soak in the outside hot tub or just sit back and relax on the large deck and listen to nature. \r\nBe sure to keep an eye out for local wildlife for sightings of several different animals have been known to frequent the area.\r\nWhile only a short distance from downtown Saluda, once at Crooked Cabin, you will feel as though you are miles from civilization.
