Negative Reviews
negative:
Beach in front of hotel is lacking
Some guests say that while there is a beach immediately in front of the resort and only a few yards away, it is not up to their expectations. Numerous guests detail the fact that this half mile stretch of Caribbean beach is not actually swimmable, thereby severely downgrading its usefulness. One recommendation is instead to move to the nearby Caña Gorda public beach or Gilligan's Island.
negative:
Birds can be distracting
Apparently, there are a number of black birds, known as Changos, that frequent the resort. There are quite a number of these Changos, and guests complain that they can be exceptionally loud with their squawking. This appears to be a particular problem during breakfast.
negative:
Wi-Fi unreliable
You may not want to attend Copamarina Beach Resort if you have any pressing business to attend to. Guests say that the Wi-Fi can be a nuisance, requiring frequent reconnection efforts. Stability seems to be generally lacking.
