Masseria Fulcignano is located in the archaeological park of Castello di Fulcignano, dating from the twelfth century and considered one of the greatest example of Salento middle age. The property is located 5 km far from the marine of Santa Maria al Bagno, 12 km far from Gallipoli and 32 km far from Lecce. The architecture of the farm, typical of rural houses of Salento, is characterized by the presence of antique fireplaces, boulder wooden ceilings, barrel vaults, big walls, imposing stone walls and antique olive trees which are the setting for a perfect combination of elegance and rusticity. The suites and rooms, equipped with every comfort, have been converted from ancient stables and from old farmhouses of the factors, through a skilful and careful restoration with only the use of environmentally friendly materials and natural. Finally, guests of the farm can take advantage of the new swimming pool of 85 square meters, surrounded by olive trees, typical Mediterranean vegetation and dry stone walls.
