About Masia El Buxaus

El Buxaus is an 18th century country house situated at an altitude of 800m in Montseny Natural Park. Its location offers to our guests a truly incomparable and calm experience. In the house's garden there is a hundred-year-old catalogued cedar tree, a species which is extremely rare on the peninsula. The restoration of the house has been carried out with great care, maintaining its originality and rustic style. The location is enviable with the nature surround it. The tranquillity you breathe there and the landscape which reigns supreme. The entire country house is surrounded by a vast green expanse and natural terraces with trees of various species, mainly chestnut, beech, holm oak and walnut trees. Thanks to its prime location it enjoys extraordinary views over the plains of La Selva, part of the Gironés and the Guillerias. From El Buxaus you can do many excursions which we can inform you on. Heating is installed throughout the house. The communal areas are: dining room, lounge with a fireplace, TV lounge, internet connection (Wi-fi), pool, natural terraces and outbuilding to stay and have luch on summer.. We like to prepare homemade dishes, using recipes from mothers and grandmothers. We cook using products from our own seasonal ecological green garden and we use all the fruits produced by the trees in the property, such as nuts, hazelnuts, blackberries, figs, chestnuts… The team at El Buxaus consist of Noemí and Jaume.
