Situated in a great position just off the I-77, MainStay Suites Charlotte offers sleek and modern business-friendly accommodation that also has great leisure amenities.
The recently renovated suites are sleek, modern and looking very good. They are set up for long stays and so are quite spacious, as well as containing fully equipped kitchens, flat screen TV’s and many more amenities to make you feel right at home.
While the outdoor pool and deck are the star features, practically minded guests may be more impressed with the more mundane amenities like the plentiful onsite parking and the business center, where they can put the finishing touches to that important presentation.
A complimentary continental breakfast is served every morning. As for the other two meals, there are a couple of restaurants nearby. Reception staff will be happy to offer recommendations.
Downtown Charlotte is approximately nine miles drive to the north.

Exceptionally convenient location
Guests clearly loved the location of the hotel. There were a couple of reasons, but the main one was that it was right off the interstate. Guests who had already traveled so far to get to this point appreciated that they could just pull of the highway and practically be at their hotel without having to negotiate busy city streets.

Suites more like apartments
The hotel is popular with long stay guests, but even those only staying for a short time appreciated having so many in-room amenities. Many guests felt that they were more like apartments than hotel rooms.

Good option for pet owners
The hotel allows pets in a limited number of rooms on payment of a modest fee. Guests traveling with pets felt that they were truly welcome at the hotel and not merely allowed as a matter of policy.

Very disappointing breakfast
It was very rare indeed to read a kind word written about the breakfast. Guests had a couple of problems with it, but the main one seemed to be that it just didn’t have the foods they wanted. They mentioned that it was very simple and included mostly carbohydrates, with very few foods containing the other two macronutrients.

Wi-Fi issues
Guests mentioned some issues with the Wi-Fi system. The problem was usually related to the log in screens. They mentioned that that sometimes they could get to the screen and log in, but were then logged out for no apparent reason.

Small maintenance issues
Many guests mentioned finding small maintenance issues in their room. While it could be said that since they were small they were not a big deal, but to guests this was the whole point. If they were small issues it would have been easy to repair.
