Opened Spring 2013 The Marine, a former public house, is now an outstanding home on Thurso's seafront with 3 superior ensuite rooms with outstanding views of the bay, Orkney Isles and the Pentland Firth. With 20 years experience at the family hotel the owners have now branched out to offer a more personal product and are able to help you organise all aspects of your trip to the North. Stay here and tour the land 'beyond' the Highlands, visit the Orkney Isles, do some surfing, ( it is on the doorstep!) fish, river or sea, golf on any of Caithness' excellent courses or try the UK mainland's most northerly (& tricky?!) course at Durness. Enjoy the best of food from local suppliers, relax in the conservatory and watch the world go by, or be entranced by the waves right outside the window. You will want to come back to share great Highland hospitality!
