positive:
Quiet location to enjoy.
Guests staying at Jewells will find that they will be guaranteed a quiet night’s sleep. The guest house is far enough from the town centre that traffic doesn’t bother anyone, but close enough for a quick stroll into town.
positive:
Top floor, top class.
The rooms on the top floor are more spacious than the rest of the rooms, and offer guests the highest quality in accommodation. Guests should expect top quality en-suite bathrooms too, with plenty of hot water to wash away any chill I the winter months.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Dining room not big enough to accommodate demand.
The breakfast served each morning is delicious, and from the way the dining room fills up so quickly is testament to that. Guests will find that if they do not arrive in time, they will have to return at a later stage to be able to be seated, as all the tables will be full.
negative:
Lots of stairs – book first floor.
Any guests with limited mobility should request rooms on the first floor. As is common in most UK B&Bs, there are a lot of stairs to the higher floors, without a lift available.
negative:
Double, triple, quadruple check booking confirmations.
A prerequisite for travelling, is that guests need to double check their reservations, and ensure that upon their arrival they are not met with confused staff, apologetic managers, and a need to find alternative arrangements.
