At Wind Chimes Boutique Hotel (San Juan, Puerto Rico)

They keep it in good order and rooms are cleaned thoroughly and regularly. It's got lots of character and the bar is great, but strangely under patronized by guests.

The pool is great. You can also use the 'sister' hotel's pool if you want. They must love their pools because the sibling hotels keep them so clean, sparkling and inviting. You can jump in any time; they only close it occasionally and late at night, to clean it ... and boy, does it show!

Very attentive and welcoming. Sometimes there is a problem, like there is anywhere, but the staff are on the ball and react quickly to sort it out.

If you are here for a lengthy period of time, you may have to request a change of bed linen. They don't seem to do this automatically.

It's the same in many places but it doesn't fool the guests. When will they learn that a double bed is not two 'singles' pushed together. No way!

Wi-Fi doesn't work in the room ... and the room is very small and cramped, without the advertised desk and there's nothing to say how to operate the telephone. Parking is so limited, it hardly exists at all! There is an offsite place but it's too far away to be of any use.
